BANK OFFICIAL’S DEBTS.

CAUSES LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT.

New Plymouth, August 19,

Because the bank in which he was employed learned that lie was in debt, Stephen Barker Williams was dismissed.

To-day, he met his creditors in the Bankruptcy Court with a deficiency of £377.

The D.O.A. said the creditors had no chance at present of securing more than two shillings in the pound. '
