TOWN HALL. One of the most discussed pictures of the year, Erich Von Stroheim’s, “The Wiedding March,” will grace the Town Hall screen on Wednesday. For the picture, in all its aspects is remarkable. It is gorgeous and spectacular in parts; it is produced with all the old-time Von Stroheim realism and attention to detail; it has a story of unusual scope and power; and -it presents an exceptional cast, which is headed bv the dashing Von Stroheim himself. “The Wedding March” tell 3 the story of “Prince Nicki” who is a lieutenant in Emperor Franz Josef’s famous cavalry regiment, the Life Guard Mounted; and the action takes place in and near Vienna in the hectic days just preceding the outbreak of the World War. With comedy, serial and News at usual prices. On Friday evening “Talkies” will lie presented in Fox ton for the first time. The All-Bjritish Talkie Company, Who have undertaken a provincial tour will visit Foxton with their special portable equipment. A fascinating programme of delightful subjects will be presented the list including “Her Night Out,” all talkie coster comedy. “The Village Band,” a comedy in dialogue and sound, the celebrated Continental Violiniste, Madame Paganini in popular and operatic solos, and other pictures in which the characters actually speak. Popular talkie prices will be charged viz., 2/- and 1/6. lOhildren half price.
