BRITISH AND FOREIGN BIBLE SOCIETY.
VISIT OF THE REV. D. CALDER, B.A. The Rev. David Calder, 8.A., general secretary of the British and Foreign Bible Society (New Zealand branch), is visiting Foxton tomorrow. He Avill preach in the .Presbyterian Church at the morning service, give an address to a young people’s rally in the Methodist iGhurch in the afternoon and again preach at. the evening service at All Saints’. On Monday afternoon, at All Saints’ schoolroom, there twill be a social gathering of all interested in the society, Avhen Mr. Calder wil 1 address, the gathering. Mr. Calder Avas, prior to accepting the office he noAV holds, one of the foremost men of the Presbyterian Church. His addresses on the subject nearest his heart, the Bible Society, are ahvays full of interest as ''well as being eloquent.
