Mrs. McGee, of Clyde Street, was admitted to the Palmerston N. Hospital yesterday for special medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Symons, who recently returned '(from a trip to the South Island, have taken up their residence in Robinson Street. On Tuesday evening Mil and Mgs. Symons were accorded a “welcome home” iby the District High School staff,'. ;"■ ’■ '■* : ' Rev. Father T. McDermott, of Foxton, returned to Ne(w .Zealand on the Ritahine on Wednesday and arrived back in Foxton on Thursday evening. Pather McDermott, who has'been on a holiday visit to Ireland, informed our representative that the weather in Ireland during his stay was particularly good. In faiet the spring was pro-. claimed to be the best they had experienced for ibany years and a good season was anticipated.
