ISSUING VALUELESS CHEQUES.
At the Magistrate's Court yesterday morning, before Mr. M. E. Perreau, J.P., a man whose name was ordered to be suppressed was charged with having obtained the sum of £2 from Mrs. Dwyer at Wanganui by meaus of a valueless cheque. On the application of the police the accused was remanded till tomorrow morning, on his own recognisance of £25.
