The Government Meteorologist wires at noon to-day as follows: — The indications are for northerly winds moderate to strong to northerly winds strong to gale after about (Sixteen hours, and backing by west to south. Stormy weather may be expected. Rain probable after 16 hours. Barometer rising. Seas rough, tides good.
