HIGH COMMISSIONER’S CABLE. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated .29th June, from the ■High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: — Hemp;—Manila market easier. (Closing values .for “J” grade JuneAugust, shipments £37 10/-. Sisal: Market quiet but steady. Tanganyika No. 1 for June-August shipment quoted sellers £3O 10/-; No. 2 £37 10/-. New Zealand. —Slightly improved demand for better qualities, stocks of which arc small and firmly held. Comparative closing 1 values . for June-August shipments. High points £33 10/-; fair £3l; common £29 10/-. Tow 2nd grade £2l; 3rd grade £l7 10/-.
