WEDDING.
ROSS—DAVEY. The Foxton Presbyterian Church was filled to overflowing on Monday evening on the occasion of the marriage of Josephine Jessica (Ena), second daughter Of Mr. and Mrs. J. Davev,. of Himatangi, to Stephen Norman Ross, fourth son of Mrs. Sexton, of Taikorea. Rev. J. H. Bredin, of Palmerston North, officiated and the church was tastefully decorated for the occasion by friends of the bride. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was charmingly attired in a gown of shell pink, geor•gette with beautiful hand embroidered veil and was attended by her sister, Miss Pansy Da,vey, as bridesmaid, who was attired in a pretty gown of pale blue georgette with tight fitting bodice of uneven hem. Two little flower gilds, Essie and Margaret, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Henderson, of Palmerston North, webe also in attendance on the •bride, daintily attired in pretty little frocks of lavender organdie with head bandeaux to match. The bride carried a pretty shower bouquet of asparagus and roses, presented by her sister, Airs. Gardenefi-, of Himatangi. Mr. Funnell, of Oroua Downs, carried out the duties of best man and the organ was presided over by Miss E. Patterson, a friend of the bride. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the breakfast was held when a large number of guests were entertained and the usual toasts honoured. After the breakfast the happy couple left by car for the Taranaki district on their honeymoon, after which they will reside at Tiakitahuna.
