TOWN HALL. “A Woman Redeemed,” will be the leading film at the Town Hall on Friday evening. Plenty of action and lively incidents make this more satisfying than the usual British film, and in most respeets it is as good as' many American releases. Joan Lockton and Brian Ah erne, (excel lout in their pajrts, exhibit a mobility to face and expression (generally lacking in the acting of their fellow countrymen. ■Spies as the main theme of films are wearing rather thin, but in villainy, which is primarily concerned with a general revolution and the overthrow of England. A young inventor, with plans of a new 'aeroplane controlled solely by wiric'ess as a. new method of destruction, is the objective of this unscrupulous and criminal band of spies, who use an unwilling girl as a pawn in their nefarious work. Also “Secrets of Nature,” an interesting film and the latest News. Usual prices. The Fox Film “Me, Gangster,” based on the Chajrles Francis Coe serial in the Saturday Evening Post, will screen at the Town Hall on Saturday. “Me, Gangster,” essentially, is the oft-told story of the boy who lacked parental influence, who was allowed to run wild ■in his boyhood days and who, naturally, travelled the wrong road in his adolescence and young manhood. (More than all else, “Me, Gangster" is a warning to parents as to the training of their offspring. It was directed by Raoul Walsh. Usual prices.
