WERAROA STATE FARM.

GOVERNMENT TO OFFER BY BALLOT. In to-day’s issue the Lands Department are inviting applications for subdivisions of the Weraroa Experimental Farm which will be opened by ballot on 15th July. This property which it situated about two miles from Levin has been utilised for many years ‘by the Department of Agriculture for experimental and demonstration purposes, and has now been subdivided into nine farms averaging (55 acres each. [Four of the farms are provided with buildings. The 'Commissioner of Crown Lands, Wellington, advises* that the land is all flat, with pastures in splendid condition and with the numerous shelter belts is first class dairying country. The property is offered on special renewable lease for thirty-three year terms with a. perpetual right of renewal at a rental based on \ aluation.
