NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
Once again the Winter Show of Pallmierston North conies 'airound and the programme this year is even more comprehensive than have been the previous ones. That is setting a very high standard, but one worthy of the Manawatu district. The show this year will open on the 18th June and will be open each night until 10 p.m. on the 22nd June. The co-operation of the Railway has been secured and there will be excursion fares on all the branches of the North Island system. The programme this year includes the time-honoured Te Aute Native College and Palmerston N. Boys’ High. School match on Wed ■ nesday, 19th June, while on the Saturday the local High School will meet the cream of the Wairarapa Boys’ High School from Masterton, a game which will be as good as the one played on the Wednesday. Talkie ‘pictures will be another of the attractions. The Trades Halls are already fully booked up and even at this stage are hives of industry iu preparation for the show. Those desirous of taking put membership with the A. & P. Association are reminded also that now is the time to attend to it. By joining now the ■member gets the full privilege of both show’s, and will have eight days and nights amusement and instruction for one pound. Think of it. Write to the secretary of the Association, Box 85, Palimerston North for particulars,, or better still send along one pound and receive your tickets by return mail. Don’t forget that the show opens •on 18th. June.
