NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
The dates set down for this most important of Winter Show are 18th to 22nd June, both dates inclusive. In conjunction with this event will he held the annual exhibition of the Manaiwatu Poultry Association which has the finest accommodaf tion for poultry, pigeons, and cani 1 aries in the Dominion. Associated [ with this show will he the annual exhibitions of a number of specialists clubs, all tending to malice the show the outstanding success that I it warrants. 'Classes in the general schedule comprise horse competitions, dog trials, fat stock, (field roots and vegetables, fruit, honey, home cookery, needlework, and photography, entries for which close on 4th June, 1929. The progralm|me of entertainments for the week is a very comprehensive one, comprising football matches, ring , competitions, a cabaret and various side shows usually associated with such an event. Anyone desiring a schedule for either the dairy show or the poultry show are advised that one will be sent post free on I. application to the secretary, P.O. 'Box 85, Palmerston North.
