This will be the veteran’s second venture in matrimony, his first wife, formerly Miss Gennna Cecilia, wholm he married in 1867, having died in 1922. Sir Charles served in New Zealand from 1861 to 1866, being awarded a medal for gallantry. Ho lias held high military positions, and was Governor of Malta from 1903 to 1907.

A metaber of Speedways, Limited, stated recently that if three tracks were to be operated, admission charges would be reduced to a purely nominal figure.
