NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
The attention of our readers is drawn to the National Dairy Show to be held at Palmerston North from. 18th to 22nd June next, both dales inclusive. In addition to the exhibition of dairy, farm and general produce, which is one of the bc-st in the Dominion, an interesting and amusing round of entertainments has been arranged for visitors. On ■ the educational side )of the programme there will be several lectures on matters of great interest to farmers generally, the speakers being- experts in their particular line. These lectures comprise, bee and honey culture, orchard diseases, and a very educative lecture on farm horses. The entertainment portion of the programme is more varied than usual and quite a number of novelties will be presented. Attention is also drawn to the dogtrials, which are attracting a great deal of attention in the farming world and to the annual championship exhibition of the Alanawatu Poultry Association, and the finest exhibition of dairy and other farm machinery to be seen at -any show in New Zealand.
