PRIME MINISTER’S OPINION

Christchurch, Last Night. In reply to a question whether the Government intended assisting civil aviation, Sir Joseph Ward said that the time had not arrived when aviation could be adopted as the defence system. While the present defence system was in force, there could be no duplication.
