CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor). Shy—l have read with interest that the Minister for Justice has decided to grant the Plunket Society a site upon vdiich to erect a suitable building alongside the new courthouse. Those responsible for making the request and obtain ing the sanction of the Minister are entitled to the thanks of the public. May I suggest, sir, -that the Borough Council consider the suggestion of a combined building to serve the dual purpose of a public reading room, which we do not possess and Plunket rooms. If this suggestion is given favourable consideration it would ease the financial responsibility of the Plunket Society and provide a public need. Will our new Council take the matter up. From what I know of the Plunket Society I feel sure they would welcome such a proposal. Yours etc., PROGRESS.
