HIGH COMMISSIONER’S CABLE. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated 20th instant, from the High Comlmissioner for New Zealand, London:— Hemp.—Manila ,market dull and easier, closing “J” grade AprilJune shipment sellers £37 10/-. Sisal; —Market quiet. Nominal closing,values, for fair average quality are ,No. 1, £39; No. 2, £37. Good marks 10/- more laeeording to position. 1 New Zealand-r-Market dull and values easy owiiog to lack of support and nfore , offering. Nominal closing comparative values for April-June shipments are: —High points £33/ fair £3l, common £29 10/-, rejected £27 1(0/-; tow 2nd grade £2l, 3rd grade £lB. Stocks in London, on 31st March 65 tons against 74 tons at same time last year. J , .
