PERRY BROS.’ CIRCUS.
The circus is one of the oldest kinds of amusement. Through the years it has undergone many changes, but of it this can be said: Its popularity has in no way decreased. Messrs Perry Bros.’ circus and zoo, which have gained praise wherever exhibited, will make its appearance in Easton Park, Foxton, on Monday May fit-h. The zoo is said, to he an extensive one, containing a large assortment of animals, while the circus includes many startling parts, including the Flying Lorenzos, mid-air marvels; Signor Alberto, the wire walker, who somersaults on the silver thread; Captain Monzalo and his performing lions and tigers; the Aetoci Troupe, wonderful perch elephant, which dances the Charleston and plays its own music, together with riders, tumblers,' acrobats, clowns and performing horses, ponies, and dogs.
