The death occurred at Oroua Downs this morning of a wellknown and highly esteemed settler in the person of My. John Conlon. The death occurred at the residence of Mr. T. Tuna, Hall Street, at midday of Mrs. Iwi Eurera, a well-known local Native lady. Deceased was 54 years of age and her husband predeceased her some time ago. Mr. T. Eurera, of Foxton, is a son of the deceased lady and Messrs Inia (Otaki) and Hakar:\ia ( of the South Island) are step sons. When millions multiply in pounds
