Monk has been re-elect-ed unopposed to represent the boroughs of Levin, Otaki and Shannon on the Palmerston Hospital Board. Mr A. Crawford was welcomed by the Wjanganui Education Board on Wednesday on taking his place for the first time as Senior Inspector of Schools for the Wanganui distriet. , s 1 1 AH- R. Sewell, an ex-member of the Wanganui Education Board, paid a visit of inspection to the locat D.H. School yesterday and expressed surprise and pleasure at the well-equipped and up-to-date buildings. AH" Sewell is on a visit to his sister, Mrs J. K. Hornbloiw.
