SOUTHERN CROSS TAKES OFF.
Sydney, April 19. The Southern Cross, refuelled with petrol brought by rescue planes look off and landed at Derby at 5.15 (Sydney time), all well. JVBWlilliams and Litchfield, were taken off in the rescue planes to lighten the Southern Cross’s load. The Southern Cross flew from Derby to Wyndham at noon yester'day* to commence at the earliest moment, the search for Anderson and Hitchcock, who are still missing.
