DAYLIGHT SAVING
FARMERS SUPPORT HALFHOUR. Feildiug', April 5. The annual 'meeting of the Farmers’ Union passed a motion in favour of half au hour of daylight saving during the sumlmer, but not m the winter. The meeting also expressed renewed concern regarding deteriorated land, and suggested an exhaustive research. It also urged a stronger tight against noxious weeds, particularly the blackberry and ragwort.
