ATHLETIC AND FOOTBALL CARNIVAL.

There was a fair attendance at the athletic and football carnival held at Easton Park on Saturday under,the auspices of the Sports Queen. Committee, although the attendance of parents was somewhat disappointing when the fact that the local school champions were iu action was taken into consideration. The football in'atch, Foxton Thirds v. High School and Old Boys, resulted in a win for Thirds by 0-points to 3. The game Microbes v.
