TOWN HALL. Friday’s feature at the Town Hall “Hello Cheyenne.” The latest Mix production differs somewhat from the usual run of Westerns. It is not purely a Western and yet is Western enough to satisfy the most sophisticated audience. As a telephone lineman, Mix is the centre of a-mad scramble of two telephone companies, each trying to be the first to lay a line between Cheyenne and Rawhide. Mix meets Diana iCody* daughter -of one of the contestants, and he naturally swings his aid in Cody’s favour. From that moment on the action becomes more and more intense, finally ending in a brilliant display of fistic fireworks.
Caryl Lincoln, Jack Baston, A 1 St. John, Joseph Girard, Martin Faust and William, Caress complete the cast. With “Do Detectives Think” (Comedy), Variety and News at usual prices. A fire chief and a police chief in a small town; George ‘Sidney and Charlie Murray- in a comedy that brings a laugh a second. This is the summary of First National’s “The Life of Riley,” and which is one of the. funniest screen offerings of the season. It will head Saturday’s programme. Usual prices.
