WEDDING.
CHRISTIE—BARNARD. A quiet wedding of local interest was solejmnised in St. Matthew’s Church, Wellesley Street, Auckland, on the evening- of March 9th, when Clodagh, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Barnard, of Foxton, was united to Jamies Lindsay, second son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Christie, of Avenue Road, Foxton. The bride who was given away by Mr. John Cuff, was very prettily attired in a charming frock of blue eharmeuse and beige coloured hat and carried a bouquet of dahlias and carnations. Mrs. Bennett, a friend of the bride and bridegroom, acted as matron of honour, while Mr. Victor Bennett carried out the duties of best man. The Church was prettily decorated for the occasion and at the conclusion of the service the guests were entertained at the residence of Mr. and Mi’s. H. Bennett, of Surrey Crescent. Both Mr. and Mrs, J. L. Christie are well and popularly known locally and the best wishes of fc <3 community will be extended to for their future happiness. Mr. and Mrs. iChristie will take up their residence in Auckland, _
