Mrs. A. 'C. Baker, of Foxton, is the -guest of her sister, Mrs. Shaw, of Newbury. At Tuesday’s session of the Hospital Board’s .Conference at present being held in Palmerston North, Mr. J. K. Hornblow was nominated as a member of the executive of the Hospital Board’s Association. Mr. C. M. Hewettj manager of the local branch of the Commercial Bank of Australasia is at present on annual leave and is being relieved by Mr. H. C. Gregory, of the Palmerston North branch. Mr. anti Mrs. Hewett left for Wellington today.
