HIGH COMMISSION ER’S CABLE. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated 9th .instant, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: — Ilelmlp.—Manila with more support And lack of offers values have advanced and business has' been done at up to £37 10/- in “J” grade for March-May and Api'il-Juno shipment. Closing value £37. ■Sisal. —Market quiet but steady. Sales reported of fair average quality for February-April shipment at £4O for No. 1 and £3B for No. 2. Closing virlues £4O 10/- and £3B 10/- respectively for March-May shipment. New Zealand. —Little .better tone and sundry afloat parcels cleared. Shippers’ ideas for forward position Somewhat above buyers’. By comparison with other sorts e.i.f. nominal values are: — High points £34; fair £32 10/-; ■common £29 15/-; rejected £2B 15/-; FebruaryApril and March- May shipment. Tow unchanged.
