Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Bullard left this afternoon on a holiday visit to the South Island.
Mr. Byron Brown has been asked to contest the seat for the Otaki Mayoralty, but, so far, lias not given a definite answer says the Mail.
Among those selected as the Wellington representatives at the New Zealand athletic championships in February is Miss M. Barron, of Foxton. Miss Barron will compete in the 100 yards (ladies’) event, Disappointment was expressed at the unavoidable absence of Miss Barron from last night’ athletic meeting at Palmerston Noyth.
