BOWLING.
Bowlers from Foxton journeyed to Otaki yesterday afternoon, to compete in the Triangular Shield competition. An enjoyable time was spent and play resulted as follows : Otaki: Freeman, Hawea, Smith and Satherley (s) 9 v. Foxton: Steadden, Walker, Christie, and Thomson (s) 31; Otaki: Amyes, Young, Winder and Penlington (s) 23 v. Levin: Monk, Sherwood, Bain and Clement (sj 17; Otaki: O’Rourke, Palmer, Noble and Wilmot (s) 21 v. Shannon: Cray, Hyde, Clayton and Knowles (s) 15.
