THE THIRD CRICKET TEST
Australia’s position in the Third Test match has greatly improved. England’s first innings closed for 417,- only 20 ahead of the home side’s score, land the Australians, in their second strike, have made 118 for the loss of two wickets. The feature of the match is Hammond’s double 'century. Bv scoring two double centuries in Test cricket, Hammond has established a new hatting record. Blaekie bowled with remarkable success, --taking six English wickets for 94.
