On Ist and 2nd January, special cheap excursion tickets to Marton, available for return until 3rd January, will be issued at Foxton, Palmerston North, and intermediate stations, only by morning train leaving Foxton. These trains connect with special race trains leaving Palmerston 9.25 a.m. (Ist), 9.30 a.m. (2nd). Return trains leave Marton 5.35 p.m. (Ist), 5.50 p.m. (2nd). lOonne'eting train for Foxton leaves Palmerston North 7.0 p.m. on Ist and 7.30 p.m. on 2nd. For full particulars see booklet obtainable free at all railway stations. Goods sheds will lie closed on Ist and 2nd January.
