POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS
FOR CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR. Monday, 24th December. —A delivery of all correspondence (including registered) will be made over the public counter between 7 and 8 p.m. Tuesday, 25th December, Christmas Day.—Closed in all branches, with the exception of the Telephone Exchange. Wednesday, 26th December, Boxing Day.—Telegraph Office will be closed all day. Mails will be despatched (closing at 6 a.m.) for Wjellington, Palmerston North and Taranaki. Telephone Exchange will be open all day. Thursday, 27th December. —Open as usual. Monday, 31st December.—A delivery of all correspondence (including registered) will be m!ade over the public counter between 7 and 8 p.m. • Tuesday, Ist January, 1929, New Year’s Day.—Telegraph office will 'be closed all day. Mails will be despatched (closing ston North and Taranaki. Telephone Erchange open all day. Wednesday, 2nd January. —Open as usual.
