YOUTH’S FATAL JUMP.

Wellington, Last Night. At the inquest to-day into the death of Melville Wood, aged 18, who was killed on Wednesday evening through jumping from, the aerial tower of the Wellington broadcasting station, 2YA, on Mt. Victoria, the verdict was to the effect that deceased died from injuries received through jumping from a wireless mast while in a state of extreme mental depression, caused by an attack of meningitis.
