_ 4 RECORD NOMINATIONS. Nominations for the Foxton Racing Club’s annual meeting, to be held on 10th and 17th of next month, closed last evening and constitute a record. Since last meeting the club decided to change its dates to the 16th and 17th January from 21st and 22nd, and some speculation has been rife as to the wisdom of the move. The result last night, however, seems to prove the step to be one in the right direction.
