We have just received the following magazines from the publishers, Messrs Gordon and Goteh, Australia Ltd.:: —
“True Story.” It is a true saying that truth is stranger than fiction and this magazine certainly is replete with strange and interesting stories taken from life itself. Not the least interesting is “The Doctor’s Wife.” Others are “Men of my Heart,” “Does Love Excuse All,” “My Friend and my Wife,” “Strange Bondage,” etc. A colourful magazine of true, to life stories.
“Best Story.” This Hutchinson’s magazine contains 144 pages of good solid reading matter, stories by such well-known writers as Leonard Merrick, George Robey, C. E. Montague, Hugh, Walpole, etc. One of the .finest magazines on the market. Full of appealing stories for all tastes.
Weldon’s Ladies’ Journal. —The December number contains free patterns of smart day dress and dainty dance froclk.
