Laura La Plante who is in the forefront of . screen commediennes will be seen at the Town Hall tonight in “Finders Keepers,” described as easily her best picture to date. Her adventures in camp after becoming engaged to half a regiment of men and disguising herself as a recruit should give patrons one of the hardest and longest laughs, of any picture this year. The story from the able pen of Mary Roberts Rinehart is produced in Universal’s best style with a fine cast in support of the star. Also screening, “Aching Youth” (Comedy), “When Giants Fought” (Sporting), and latest News and N.Z. Scenic. Usual prices. Madge Bellamy is cast as the wide-awake hosiery traveller in “Silk Legs,” a Fox Films production directed by Arthur Rosson, showing at;the Town Hall on Monday. Tlie \ story was written by Frederica Sagor. James Hall is cast, in the leading masculine role, as Phil Parker, a wise-croclang traveller. Usual prices. ROYAL. Rin-Tin-Tin will be the big attraction at the Royal theatre tonight in “Jaws of Steel.” This story is a tale of mystery set in one of the deserted towns which abound in the worked out goldfields of North America. Rinty plays the part of a renegade dog falsely accused of murdering a man, who with almost human power succeeds in proving his innocence and fixing the crime in the correct place. Jason Robards and Mary Nash are leading players. Also a star Comedy “Are Blonde Men Bashful,” and latest Pathe Gazette. Prices 9d and 1/6. Children 3d and 6d. Hobart Bosworth, famous for his seafaring characters, has a leading part in “The Blood Ship,” the special sea melodrama coming to the Royal next week.
