BOWLING
TRIANGULAR SHIELD AND WILFORD CUP MATCHES. On Wednesday afternoon next the first round of the Triangular Shield competition will he played at Foxton. Levin, Shannon and Otaki will each send a team to Foxton and the local club will be represented by three teams, drawn up as follows: — Seadden, Stevenson, Heyes, Nye. Robinson, Walton, Walker, Woods.. Mattar, J. Newth, Christie, Thomson. The drawings for the first round of the Wilford Cup are as follows : Stevenson (scr.) plays M. Newth (scr.); Walton (scr.) plays AV. Howe (scr.); Carmont (scr.) plays Dorset (scr.); Mounsey (5) plays J. Newth (scr.); Christie (scr.) plays Walker (2); Bryant (2) plays Nye (scr.); Ross (2) plays Thomson (scr.); Woods (scr.) plays Spring (7); Warwick (scr.) plays Perreau (5); Robinson (scr.) plays 11. Adams (3); Parkin (scr.) plays Seadden (scr.); Easton (3) plays Pearson (scr.); Clement (scr.) plays Nicholas (2); S. Austin (5) plays Mattar (scr.}; Heppner (5) plays Heyes (scr.); Trueman a bye. The first round of the above competition must be finished by December 12th.
