RAILWAY CROSSING COLLISION.

ONE WOMAN KILLED AND TWO INJURED. Blenheim, Last Night. A fatal accident occurred at the Broadway railway crossing’, Picton, at eleven o’clock this morning, the Blenheim to Picton train running ito a motor car driven by Miss B. E. Chaytor and containing Mrs. J. K. Hannah, who is the wife of the manager of the Bank of New Zealand, Picton, Mrs. Latter, of Picton, and Miss K. Hurstkouse, of Wellington. The car was overturned. Mrs. Hannah, aged about 50, was kdled instantly. Miss Chaytoy sustained nasty leg injuries; Miss Hursthouse received sevece bruises and is suffering from shock and is in hospital with Miss Chaytor. Mrs. Latter escaped more or less without injury.
