SMITH AND ULM PLAN AERIAL MAIL SERVICE.

BETWEEN MELBOURNE AND BRISBANE. Sydney, Nov. 10. Kingsford Smith and Ulm have planned an aerial mail and passenger service on an elaborate scale between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, commencing after their visit to America. In addition, they will manufacture aircraft for defence and civil purposes and alsg probably commence an air service from Brisbane to New Guinea and from Melbourne to Hobart. They favour triple-engine machines', of eight to 14 passenger capacity of a type similar to the Southern Cross. They anticipate covering the journey from Melbourne to Brisbane in about lo hours.
