WEDDING.

FERRIER—MOORE. St. Peter’s Church, Terrace End, Palmerston North, was the scene of a quiet but exceptionally pretty wedding on Tuesday, ‘when Florence Elaine, daughter of Mi's, and the late Mr. R. R. Moore, of Foxton, was married to William Hedley Ferrier (Wanganui), son of Mrs. and the late Mr. W. Ferrier, of Timaru.

The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother-in-law, Mr. E. Chester, chose blush pink crepe de chine and lace for her bridal gown, and wore a very beautiful Brussels lace veil, lent by Mrs. Lance Millward, Palmerston North, which was arranged cap fashion amid a wreath of orange blossom. She carried a beautiful bouquet of pale pink. Miss K. Perrier, of Christchurch, (sister of the groom) was chief bridesmaid in a lovely frock of salmon pink crepe de chine, and Miss Minnie Turton, of Pahiatua, wore the palest of pink lace over georgette. Little Joan Chester (niece of the bride) made a dainty llower girl, in her floral frock of pastel shades and blue velvet streamers. She wore a smart poke bonnet hat trimmed with pastel shaded flowers. All three carried posies te tone with their frocks. The Rev. W. H. Walton, (Poxton), performed the ceremony, and Mr. lan Rickard, Palmerston North, was best man. On the eve of her wedding Miss Moore was made the presentation of a cheque and a handsome pewter tea service by the directors and ,staff of the Kiwi Bacon Company Ltd., Palmerston North. Mr. and Mrs. Perrier will make their future home in Wanganui.
