PRESBYTERIAN SOCIAL.
The monthly social was held in the schoolroom" last night when the arrangements for the evening were in the hands of the men and proved a great success. The programme consisted of solos, musical items, games and competitions. The winners of the competitions were Mrs. Nicol, Mrs. Barron, Miss Paterson and Miss McEwen. Instead of the usual supper of cakes and sandwiches, the men sprung a surprise with whitebait fritters, which were much 'appreciated.
