WERAROA FARM.

MAY BE SUBDIVIDED AND LEASED. A new clause to be added to the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Bill was brought down by GovernorGeneral’s message in the House of Representatives on Wednesday night. The clause provides for setting apart the Weraroa experimental farm as an endoAvment for agricultural research, experiment and instruction, and authorises the subdivision and leasing thereof and the use of. the revenue therefrom for the said purposes. The land, Avhich consists of 728 acres in the Wellington land district, may be offered for lease by public auction in such lots and on such terms as may be arranged by the Government, arid the proceeds from time to time applied to sums appropriated by Parliament toAvards meeting expenditure in connection with agricultural research, experiment and instruction.
