PISSIBILITY OF FACTORY IN SHANNON. According to a statement made by Cr. Hyde at a meeting of the Shannon Borough Council, held this week and reported in the News, there is a possibility of a sack, rope, and twine works being erected in that locality. Cr. Hyde reported to the meeting that there was every prospect of a large manufacturing concern commencing in Shannon.for the making of sacks, rope, twine and string, and he asked that an industrial area be set aside by the Council. *' A site for the purpose was agreed to, on the west side of the railway line.
