GOLF RECORD CLAIMED

AMERICAN’S UNIQUE FEAT. What looks like a world’s record “hole in one” was done by John P. Budde;' the long driver of the Queensboro Golf Club, at Bayside, Long Island, America, says an Australian paper. On July 22 lie holed from the tee with a 293 yards drive. In all, he has four times put his tee shot into the hole. On the other occasions they were short holes. His four “ones” have been collected in the course of two years. The 293 yards hole is a “blind” one, players having to drive over a high hill.
