WEEKEND EXCURSION.

The Railway Department’s next week-end excursion will be to. Rotorua. The excursion train leaves Wellington on Friday afternoon, 12th October, arrives Rotorua early the next morning and returns on Sunday evening. An outstanding feature is the exceptionally cheap fai'es —half usual rates. The excursionists will have two whole days in which to_ view the many wonderful sights of geysers, boiling lakes, mud volcanoes, etc., and a swim in the tepid curative waters of the baths is a treat which should not be missed. Those fortunate enough to make the trip will experience a week-end of never to be forgotten thrills and wonderful sights. This outstanding opportunity to visit one of the most wonderful thermal regions in the world over the week-end should appeal to many, particularly those whose employment bars them from a trip of the kind at other than a week-end. Full particulars will be supplied oirapplication at any railway station. .
