Messrs Moore and Bergin advertise in this issue a new 6-roomed house in Jenks Street to let. The usual monthly meeting of the Foxton Chamber of Commerce will be held on Thursday evening next in the Presbyterian schoolroom. A reminder is given of the social and dance to be held in the Masonic Hall this evening, under the auspices of St. Mary’s Church. A good time is promised all who attend.
Mr. Thomas Taylor, representing the Mercantile Bank of Australia Ltd., (capital £3,000,000) is visiting Foxton in connection with the share issue of the above Bank. This will afford a splendid and safe investment for those with share capital. Mr. Taylor will be in Foxton for two days only and may be consulted at Whyte’s Hotel or by appointment.
