There was a good attendance at the Herrington Golf links on Saturday when Levin Club paid an official visit. An* enjoyable afternoon was spent by all present and some good play was witnessed. Play resulted as follows, Foxton players being mentioned first: — Men. — Bergin lost to Hosie; Hewitt lost to F. Phillips; A. P. Easton lost to Brown; Roach lost to Bull; Christie lost to Sherwood; AY. Ross lost to W. Phillips; Walton lost to Marsh.

Ladies. —Miss Neylon defeated Mrs. Clark; Miss Robinson halved with Miss Kebbell; Mrs. A. P. Easton lost to Miss wlhitaker; Mrs. J. Newton lost to Miss Alloway; Mrs. M. B. Bergin lost to Mrs. Denton; Mrs. Stanley defeated Mrs. Sherwood; and Mrs. Walton lost to Mrs. Hosie.
