TOWN HALL. “Won in the Clouds,” an aerial drama will be the attraction at the Town Hall on Friday. From the opening shot which finds the modern airplane ready to help an exploration adventure in the vast jungles of darkest Africa, to the final fadeout of the heroine in the arms of the flying ace, “W]on in the Clouds,” is a breath-taking, hairraising, seat-gripping, thriller. A 1 Wilson the star, will undoubtedly gain many new fans from his daredevil escapades in this picture for he has by far outdone many of his previous productions. With his usual calm, unerring skill he pilots the entire action of the story to the most spectacular and dramatic climax ever seen in a picture of this type. Then, too, he has one of the greatest supporting casts one cpuld wish for. Heading the list of important characters, Arthur C. Goebel, winner of the Dole trans-Pa-cific air race to Honolulu, who •demonstrates to the fullest his right to win over the elements of his historical trans-ocean flight. Also “Buster what Next?” (Comedy), and News. Usual prices. The greatest laugh show on earth is coming to the Town Hall on Saturday. “Circus Rookies,” the third and funniest Karl DaneGeorge K. Arthur comedy, in which the stars become circus performers, prices 1/- and 2/-. Children half price.' ROYAL. Being a western star is not all child’s play, as is proven by Buck Jones, popular Fox Films star, in his latest picture, “Black Jack,” at the Royal theatre on Satui’day. In his new production Buck is forced to make his escape over roofs from a gang of desperadoes, ride down a hazardous slope of a sheer canyon wall to rescue the girl from the hands of the outlaws, and to stop a team of runaway horses. In all of these hair-raising episodes Buck is assisted by his ever faithful pal, “Silver Buck,” his famous white horse. Also on the programme “Wild Puppies,” an animal comedy, “Sicily” (Scenic), and the latest Fox. News. Prices 9d and 1/6. Children 3d and 6d. The official film of the HeeneyTunney fight is booked for screening at this theatre shortly.
