ALL SAINTS’ LADIES GUILD.
Yesterday afternoon Mesdames W. H. Walton, R. Bryant, R. Owen, R. Easton, R. Warwick, J. Robinson, A. S. Easton, and A. Nicol were the hostesses at the third of a series of social afternoons conducted by All Saints’ Ladies Guild. ‘Competitions were indulged in and were won as follows: —Peanut hunt: Miss B. Robinson; table bowls: Mrs. Dorset; history of Mary Ann: Miss I. Easton; observation : Airs. T. East. Vocal items were contributed during the afternoon by Mesdames Corn, Bullard, and Doel and were much appreciated. _ The Vicar (Rev. W. H. Walton) thanked the workers for their efforts on behalf of the church and those who were present representative of other denominations. Afternoon tea was dispensed and an enjoyable time was spent by all present.
