FOXTON PLUNKET SOCIETY.

The monthly meeting of the committee of the Plunket Society Avas held in the Society’s office, Fairey’s rooms, yesterday. Present: Mrs. F. Robinson (President), A. Ross, Perreau, Trueman, Walton, EdAvards, H. Adams, and the hon. secretary (Mrs. Barron). Apologies for absence Avere received from Mesdames B. Bergin, D. Christie, and W. Smith. Accounts amounting to 18/6 Avere passed for payment. Flo Aver steward for September: Mrs. F. Robinson. Visitor: Mrs. Trueman.

Mr. Corn’s Aveighing machine realised 6/- for the month. Donations to Plunket box: July 10/9, August 10/8. The Nurse’s report for the month of July Avas as folloAA 7 s: —Visits to Foxton, 4; visits to homes, 8; to office: Adults 96, babies 86, older children 39, total 221. New cases 2. The same for the month of August Avas: Visits to Foxton, 5; to homes, 9; to offi'oe: Adults 110, older children 41, babies 96, total 247. New cases 2. The delegates, Mesdames Robinson and Barron, presented their report on the biennial conference held in Wellington, from August 28th to 31st. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the delegates for the very interesting report of the proceedings. Before the meeting concluded the president accorded a hearty Aveleome to Mrs H. Adams, a neiv member of committee.
